THE VISA APPROACH
WE CAN OFFER TO RECRUIT EMPLOYEES UNDER THE FOLLOWING VISAS
This visa enables employers to address labour shortages by bringing in skilled workers where employers can't source an appropriately skilled Australian worker.
Key Points:
- 2-4 years visa
- Applicants must have at least 2 years relevant work experience
- Skill Assessment required by the relevant assessing body
- English Language Proficiency required (IELTS 5.0)
- Can only work for the Sponsored Company
Subclass 482
Temporary Skill Shortage Visa
This visa is for young adults who want to holiday and work in Australia for up to 3 years. Holder for this visa can work for up to 6 months for each employer.
Key Points:
- No sponsorship requirements
- Cheaper, faster and easier processing
- Does not require Skill Assessment
- Young workforce (age between 18 – 30 years old)
- Ideal for semi-skilled and entry-level roles
- Suitable for short-term workforce requirement (up to 6 months)
Subclass 462
Work and Holiday Visa
This visa allows the visa holder to take part in workplace-based occupational training activities to improve their skills for the job, area of tertiary study, field of expertise or in a professional development training program in Australia.
Key Points:
- Temporary visa for up to 2 years
- Sponsorship required
- Nomination required - less obligations for sponsor
- Does not require Skill Assessment
- Can only work for the Sponsored Company
- Candidate must have functional level English proficiency (IELTS 4.5)

Training Visa
Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM)
The PALM scheme is Australia’s key program to address unskilled, low-skilled and semi-skilled labour shortages across rural and regional Australia.
Once approved to participate in the PALM scheme, employers can recruit workers to fill positions for seasonal (short-term) of up to nine months or longer-term placements of between one and four years.
Seasonal and longer-term workers can be employed in any sector and in all regional and rural postcodes, while all Australian businesses in the agriculture sector can participate in the scheme.
Australian Agriculture Visa (AAV)
AAV visa will be available to employees across a range of agricultural sectors and skill levels.
- AAV is a sponsored visa program.
- Employers needs to be endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)
